When people tell me something is "like pulling teeth," I can't help but smile. What a good reminder that I can do hard things, in life and in mouths!
This is one of the major streets close to the school and our house!
Whoa! Is your place still safe or will it flood if the storms don't let up?
I'm so sad my office isn't sending me to help :(
Things are getting worse. I can't imagine the pics I am seeing in Cedar Rapids. The school is threatening to close even the dental clinics for all of next week (so much for finishing on time, maybe!). This is big news. The dental school closes for nothing. So far we are safe but I am worried about clean water and power. I will keep you all posted!--if we have internet and power!
That's crazy...poor Iowa:( I'm glad Iowa City isn't evacuated, at least--can you imagine the hassle that would be??I have a question for you: Can you send me the wording you used for the various inserts in your wedding invitation? I need to figure out what to do for the breakfast and temple insert wording, and I don't have much to go off of! (hopefully this makes sense). Thanks:)
Erin,Thanks for posting the video. On the news they are mostly showing footage of Cedar Rapids, and it has been hard to gauge exactly how bad the flood levels are in Iowa City. I hope that you all have the necessities. Crazy, crazy time!
