?

Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. I guess not for what he has accomplished, but for the "hope" he inspired.

I dunno. Maybe I can be awarded my Oral Surgery license now because I'll probably be a great surgeon one day.

Seems a bit sketchy to me. Any one else agree?

I totally agree! The year's choices must have been pretty bleak to pick someone who really hasn't done anything. I'd like to know who the runner up was...

YEAH! I was stunned to see that he won the Nobel Peace Prize. I thought it was kind of a joke!

Totally agree! How does Abe feel about it? I know he adores Obama.

Abe definitely agrees that the award seems premature, although he begs to differ with any who claim that "Obama hasn't done anything yet."

It sounds like Pres. Obama would also agree with those who don't think he's yet done enough to warrant this high honor: "To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who've been honored by this prize, men and women who've inspired me and inspired the entire world through their courageous pursuit of peace."

But how exciting it is for Americans that the Nobel committee thought it appropriate to honor our President with this award!

Congratulations, Pres. Obama!

I agree with you Erin. I was like, "This has got to be a joke. What Obama maniac paid off the Norwegians to give him the Nobel Peace Prize??" Seriously, he's only been president for A YEAR. Maybe if he had been working at it for like 20 years... Gee wiz.

I don't get it and nor do I think he deserves it.

The newest thought is that they were just trying to say, "Thanks" that Pres Bush is no longer president...like a slap in the face.

I think everybody agrees, including Obama I guess, so I feel a little sorry for him for that reason--at least he admits he doesn't deserve it.

Abe, you and Matt should get in a debate. He strongly believes that "Obama hasn't done anything yet." Too bad he's not coming to Hawaii, we could set up two tables and have timed rounds and everything.

Can't wait to see you guys!
