What great food for thought. I've enjoyed reading your blog over the last few months. You don't know me, but your father-in-law is my bishop. :) I think I came across your blog from our mutual friend Jessica Sorensen's--it was linked on hers and when I moved to Iowa two years ago I was looking for blogs of fellow LDS women who lived here. Anyway, thanks for the good reads on here! I am surprised at how hard this really is for someone that is such a "know-it-all" like me. I have realized I seem to always have something to say about everything. I see this in myself..., but only after I have dominated a conversation.

The times I am successful with my goal, it feels really good and I come away with so much more. I learn so much about the other person and I always feel a stronger bond with them.

You are so right. No one has a perfect life. Everyone has some kind of pain to endure or overcome. Thanks for reminding me that I need to keep working on this.Susannoreply@blogger.com
